You may be able to get both Australian Government and state or territory payments if you’ve been directly affected by a declared natural disaster.
Payments for declared natural disasters
There are payments available for the following events:
- Western Australia Tropical Cyclone Narelle, March 2026
- Queensland Rainfall and Flooding, February to March 2026
- Northern Territory Flooding, February to March 2026
- North Queensland Rainfall and Flooding, December 2025 to February 2026
- Victoria Bushfires, January 2026.
