This disaster was declared because of the severe flash flooding, landslides and debris flows as a result of glacier collapse in the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal from 26 August 2026.
AGDRP is a one off payment to help if either:
- you were seriously injured
- you or a child you care for are an immediate family member of an Australian citizen or resident who has died or is missing.
To get AGDRP you must meet all eligibility rules. You can find all eligibility rules by checking who can get it.
You have until 24 March 2027 to make a claim for AGDRP.
