Medicare online account help - Get an immunisation history statement

Instructions on how you can get a record of immunisations for you or your child using your Medicare online account, or the Express Plus Medicare mobile app.

The screenshots in this guide are from a computer using the Medicare online account. The screen layout will look different if you’re using your Medicare online account on a mobile device.

You can get your complete immunisation history statement or COVID-19 and influenza (flu) statement using either:

You can also get immunisation history statements for children under 14 listed on your Medicare card. You need to be their parent or legal guardian.

Step 1: sign in

Sign in to myGov and select Go to Medicare.

If you’re using the app, open it and enter your myGov PIN.

On your homepage, select View proof from Proof of vaccinations.

Step 2: find your immunisation statements

Select View history.

To view someone’s immunisation history statement, select whose document you want to view. You and children under 14 on your Medicare card will display here.

If you’re selecting an immunisation history statement for a child under 14, read the Immunisation Statement declaration. If you accept, select Accept.

To view:

  • COVID-19 and influenza (flu) statement, go to step 3
  • Complete immunisation history statement, go to step 4.

Step 3: view COVID-19 and influenza (flu) statement

In this example, we’ll view Jane’s statement.

Jane Citizen is already pre-selected as they are the account holder.

Select View COVID-19 and influenza (flu) statement (PDF).

Your immunisation statement will open as a PDF. You can save and print the PDF statement.

To return to your Medicare homepage, go to Step 5.

Step 4: view Complete immunisation history statement

In this example, we’ll select Jill Citizen.

Select Jill.

If you accept, select Accept.

Select View immunisation history statement (PDF).

The immunisation statement will open as a PDF. You can save and print the PDF statement.

Step 5: sign out

To return to your homepage, select Home.

From your homepage you can complete other transactions or select Return to myGov to go back to your myGov account.

For your privacy and security, sign out when you’ve finished using your myGov account.
