Office and call centre closures
Your reporting dates may change when we close on these national public holidays:
- Australia Day
- Easter
- Anzac
- Christmas
- New Year.
Our service centres and most call centres are closed over these days.
To help you plan ahead, we share the changes to reporting and payment dates in the lead up to these national public holidays.
For closures on state public holidays, please check at your local service centre.
How you can report during holiday closures
You can use your Centrelink online account through myGov to do any of the following:
- report your income
- view your reporting dates for the next 12 weeks
- change some of your appointments
- apply for an advance payment
- request a document.
If you don’t have one, it’s easy to create a myGov account.
You can also use our Express Plus mobile apps and phone self service.
You can still report your income to us, even when we’re closed. However, if you do this on a public holiday we’ll pay you after the public holiday.
