Australian Government Disaster Recovery Payment (AGDRP) is to help you if the disaster caused major damage to your home or major assets that you own at your home. It can also help you if you were seriously injured or your immediate family member has died or is missing.
To get AGDRP you must meet all eligibility rules, including being directly affected in one of the following declared areas. You can find all eligibility rules by checking who can get it.
You have until 23 October 2026 to make a claim for the following Local Government Areas (LGAs):
- Carnarvon in Carnarvon Local Government Area (LGA)
- Coral Bay in Carnarvon LGA
- Exmouth in Exmouth LGA
- Exmouth Gulf in Exmouth LGA
- Gascoyne Junction in Upper Gascoyne LGA
- Gascoyne River in Upper Gascoyne LGA
- Inggarda in Carnarvon LGA
- Kennedy Range in Carnarvon LGA
- Learmonth in Exmouth LGA
- Lyndon in Carnarvon LGA
- Minilya in Carnarvon LGA
- North Plantations in Carnarvon LGA
- North West Cape in Exmouth LGA
- Onslow in Ashburton LGA
- Wooramel in Carnarvon LGA
- Yandoo Creek in Carnarvon LGA
- Yannarie in Ashburton LGA.

If you lost income as a direct result of this disaster, you may also be eligible for Disaster Recovery Allowance. If you’re eligible, you can get both AGDRP and Disaster Recovery Allowance.
