You can now do all of these things online through myGov:
- confirm your identity
- get a Centrelink Reference Number (CRN)
- create a Centrelink online account
- link your Centrelink online account to myGov.
You don’t need to visit a service centre or call us to do any of these.
For Centrelink services, you can call ahead to book an appointment at a service centre.
Check customer service changes to see if there is an extension or interruption to our service delivery.
We have staff who travel to rural and regional areas in mobile services centres to help customers with our services and payments. Check where and when our mobile service centres are travelling to see if they’re visiting your community soon.
If you don’t have the internet at home you can use our self service terminals.

You can book one-on-one digital coaching sessions for free at any of our service centres.
We’ve started using video chat to help some customers. We may be able to arrange a video chat with you.
