If you’re affected by restrictions or in self isolation, you can do most of your Centrelink, Medicare and Child Support business with us online or by phone self service.
Using online services
You can now do all of these things online through myGov:
- confirm your identity
- get a Centrelink Reference Number (CRN)
- create a Centrelink online account
- link your Centrelink online account to myGov.
You don’t need to visit a service centre or call us to do any of these.
Visiting us
For Centrelink services, you can call ahead to book an appointment at a service centre.
We can help veterans and their families at our service centres.
Check customer service changes to see if there is an extension or interruption to our service delivery.
COVID-19 restrictions
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, service centres may be closed or open at different times. Some service centres are also currently not booking appointments. Check if this affects your local service centre.
