When you report your employee’s payroll information to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) via STP, we get some of the information. We may use it to pre-fill employment income details when the customer reports their income to us. This makes reporting easier and quicker for them to complete. Our customers are responsible for checking and accepting, or changing the information that pre-fills.
You can also report child support deductions and garnishee payments to us through STP.
