Family Tax Benefit (FTB) Part B is for single parents or carers and some couples who meet a 2 part income test.
Relationship details - Separated under one roof form (SS293)
Use this form if you’re separated but live under the same roof as your ex-partner. This is so we can assess whether to pay you as a single person or as a member of a couple.

Use this form to let us know you’ve separated from your partner.
Family Tax Benefit Part B eligibility
We may pay you Family Tax Benefit (FTB) Part B if you’re a single parent, a grandparent carer, or if you’re a member of a couple with one main income.
Student Start-up Loan
A voluntary loan you can get up to twice a year if you’re an eligible higher education student.
