Public holiday reporting and payment dates

Your reporting and payment dates may change when we close for national public holidays. We may pay you early.

We have information in different languages about Public holiday reporting and payment dates

For Centrelink payments and services, you can call our multilingual phone service.

Call the Centrelink Indigenous Call Centre to speak to us about Centrelink payments and services for free.

To help you plan ahead, we share the changes to reporting and payment dates in the lead up to national public holidays.

This means your reporting or payment dates may be different to what they’d usually be.

We’re closed for the following national holidays:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Australia Day
  • Good Friday
  • Easter Monday
  • Anzac Day
  • Christmas Day
  • Boxing Day.

You can still report your income to us when we’re closed. However, if you do this on a national public holiday we’ll pay you after the national public holiday.
