To access services on behalf of your organisation in PRODA, you need to add and link to a service provider.

Linking depends on what information the service provider needs for your organisation to access their service.

Some service providers will link automatically. Other service providers will need more information to complete the linking process.

Which service providers need more information for linking

The following health service providers need more information to complete linking:

  • Medicare Online (Including ECLIPSE, DVA and AIR)
  • PBS Online
  • HPOS for PBS
  • HPOS for AIR
  • HPOS for Patient Verification (PV).

Who can add service providers to an organisation

Only members with the Service-Link-Management attribute can add service providers to your organisation in PRODA. Read about understanding management attributes.

If you want someone to access services on behalf of your organisation, they need their own individual PRODA account. You need to add them as a member and then delegate management attributes to them.
