Business Hub is replacing Centrelink Business Online Services (CBOS). Find out more about Business Hub, including how to access and use it.
When you transition from CBOS to Business Hub
From March 2026 we’ll contact CBOS businesses about transitioning to Business Hub.
Business Hub is our secure online system that makes it easier for your business to work with us. It offers improved security, accessibility and self-service options to manage staff access in real time.
You’ll have one login to access all your services in one place.
We’ll decommission CBOS once all businesses have successfully transitioned to Business Hub.
If your business is registered for any of the services below, you should register for PRODA and transition to Business Hub now:
- Centrepay
- Centrelink Confirmation eServices - Customer Confirmation
- Centrelink Confirmation eServices - Income Confirmation
- Electronic Verification of Rent
- Income Management
- Superannuation Confirmation.
If the service you use isn’t listed, you’re not ready to transition yet. We’ll contact you when the service you use is ready.
Make sure your business has a nominated Authorised Officer and your contact details are up to date. If you need help to do this, contact us.
When to use CBOS
You should use CBOS if:
- you aren’t eligible to use Business Hub
- Business Hub doesn’t include the payments and services you need to manage.
What you can do in CBOS
You can use CBOS to upload documents and files for Tasmanian Freight Equalisation Scheme (TFES) claims. This Scheme provides freight assistance to eligible businesses who transport eligible goods by sea across Bass Strait.
If you are an Australian Disability Enterprises (ADE) employer, you can report employee earnings directly to us using the Employer Reporting service.
Information about supported employment for people with disability is on the Department of Social Services website.
How to register
The process to register for CBOS differs depending on the service you need to access.
You can find out more about registering for the following services:
- Submit a claim for Tasmanian Freight Equalisation Scheme (TFES)
- How to register for the Employer Reporting Service.
If you haven’t transitioned to Business Hub yet, or you have staff outside of Australia, you can use the Business Online Services User Details form to manage user access. This applies if you’re already registered for any of these services:
- Centrepay for businesses
- Centrelink Confirmation eServices
- Electronic Verification of Rent
- Income Management.
