Public holiday reporting and payment dates

Your reporting and payment dates may change when we close for public holidays. We may pay you early.

Office closures

We close during the following national public holidays:

  • Australia Day
  • Easter
  • Anzac Day
  • Christmas
  • New Year.

Your reporting and payment dates may change during these closures. We’ll show these just before national public holidays to help you plan ahead.

For closures on state public holidays, please check with your local service centre.

How you can report during public holiday closures

You can still report your income to us, even when we’re closed. However, if you do this on a public holiday, we’ll pay you after the public holiday.

You can use your Centrelink online account through myGov to do any of the following:
