You can use Centrelink Confirmation eServices (CCeS) to confirm customer information to help you determine a customer’s eligibility for a concession, rebate or service you provide.
Access to CCeS
You can access Centrelink Confirmation eServices (CCeS) from within Business Hub or using a system to system interface.
If we approve your business to use CCeS, you must nominate at least one Authorised Officer. The Authorised Officer is responsible for managing who in your business has access to the CCeS service in Business Hub.
Before you can give your employees, contractors or agents access to CCeS in Business Hub they must give you their verified PRODA Registration Authority (RA) number. If they don’t have one, they must apply for a PRODA user ID and password themselves.
Ways to use CCeS
You can use CCeS to get customer information in 3 different ways.
Single enquiry
You can use the single entry service to enquire about one customer at a time. You’ll get the results straight away and can print them for your records.
Batch file lodgement
You can use the batch file lodgement service to submit a single enquiry about multiple customers using a batch XML file. You’ll usually get a response to the batch file within 24 hours. It may take longer depending on the size of the file.
System to system
You can connect your system interface directly with us using the system to system service. This is sometimes called a webservice. This is the best option if you have lots of customers, and need an immediate result.
Service costs
There’s no cost for your business to use CCeS. But there are fees to set up and test:
- a batch file lodgement service
- system to system service.
Contact the Centrelink Confirmation eServices helpdesk to talk about fees and testing.
CCeS user guides
You can access user guides for CCeS in the digital assistant in Business Hub or by contacting the Confirmation Services helpdesk.
Get help
If you need help using CCeS, contact the Confirmation eServices helpdesk. They’re open 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday AEST.
