Your options and obligations for Farm Household Allowance (FHA).
If you got Farm Household Allowance before 1 July 2020, you need to to give us your income information. This is so we can check if we paid you the right amount. Read more about farm business income reconciliation.
There are things you need to do and tell us about while you’re getting FHA:
- give us a new estimate of your farm and farm related income if this changes
- tell us about any changes to your circumstances within 14 days.
We compare your estimated and actual farm business income to check you got the right amount of Farm Household Allowance.
You need to report any changes to your circumstances when you get Farm Household Allowance.
There are rules about when you can get Farm Household Allowance when you travel outside Australia.
