We use your business income estimate to work out if you’re eligible for Farm Household Allowance (FHA).
From 1 July 2020 we no longer need to reconcile business income for FHA customers every year.
However, if you received FHA prior to 30 June 2020 you’ll need to provide your income tax returns and other financial documents for the relevant financial years.
We’ll use these documents to compare your business income with the estimate you gave us. This allows us to check we paid you the right amount of FHA. We call this business income reconciliation.
If you get Farm Household Allowance (FHA) we may need to reconcile your business income.
