We close for national public holidays.

Your reporting dates may change when we’re closed.

We close during the following national holidays:

  • Australia Day
  • Easter
  • Anzac
  • Christmas
  • New Year.

Your reporting and payment dates may change during these closures. We’ll show these just before the national holiday to help you plan ahead.

For closures on state public holidays, please check at your local service centre.

How you can report during holiday closures

You can use your Centrelink online account through myGov to do any of the following:

If you don’t have one, you can create a myGov account.

You can also use our Express Plus mobile apps and phone self service.

You can still report your income to us, even when we’re closed. However, if you do this on a public holiday we’ll pay you after the public holiday.
