Your physical EBT card lets you buy goods and services or get cash out at an ATM or a point of sale (POS) terminal subject to terminal and ATM limits.
You must collect a physical card from a service centre.
You need to remember your PIN and keep it and your card safe. Don’t throw your card away. If you’re eligible to have another payment made to your EBT card, we can reload it over the phone without you attending a service centre.
How to pay using EFTPOS
When you use your EBT card at a POS terminal to buy goods or services:
- Tap, swipe or insert your card.
- Select Savings - SAV, or cheque - CHQ as the account type if prompted.

You may be able to get cash out too, if the merchant allows.
