Our university paid internships are open to Canberra law students in the final or second-last year of your degree. You’ll work on real projects that support Australians.

• get paid at the APS2 level starting at $64,202 pro rata.

Who can apply

To be eligible for our internship, you must meet all the following:

• be an Australian citizen
• be studying a bachelor-level law degree or higher at a Canberra university, either full-time or part-time
• be in the final or second-last year of your law degree
• have a minimum weighted average mark of 60
• be able to get and keep an Australian Government security clearance
• complete any required police, health or other checks.

What you’ll work on

We’ll match you with roles related to your law studies.

You might:

• research and analyse information
• prepare documents for review
• respond to questions and escalate complex issues
• apply procedures and protocols
• support stakeholder relationships.
