Disputed care and interim periods
Disputed care is when parents stop following a written care arrangement without both parents agreeing to do so. An interim period may apply when this happens.
Notional assessment
We assess what the child support rate would be if the agreement wasn’t in place. We call this a notional assessment.
Family Tax Benefit Account Payable notice
If you get Family Tax Benefit (FTB), you need to confirm your family income each year. If you don’t, we’ll send you an Account Payable notice.
Confirm change of child care services for Child Care Subsidy
If you change child care services, you don’t need to tell us as long as you’re still using an approved service.
