If you’ve started a graduated return to work, call our Centrelink compensation recovery line. We’ll make sure we’re paying you and your partner, if you have one, the right amount of income support.
If you get a back payment of periodic compensation, we may have overpaid you and your partner income support. If this happens, you’ll need to pay us back.
Generally, any repayments to us are taken out of the compensation payment by the insurer or compensation payer. This amount is sent to us before the remainder is paid to you. If this doesn’t happen, we’ll ask you to repay us.
