Gifting
If you give away your income or assets, they may still count towards your income and assets tests. This also applies if you sell them for less than they’re worth.
Employment Separation Certificate form (SU001)
You can ask your previous employer to use this form to certify important employment information about you.
Assets test for allowances
We use the assets test to help us work out if you can be paid an allowance and how much you'll get.
Relationship details - Separated under one roof form (SS293)
Use this form if you’re separated but live under the same roof as your ex-partner. This is so we can assess whether to pay you as a single person or as a member of a couple.

Scheduled reporting
If you need to report your employment income, it’ll usually be every 14 days, on a date we tell you. We call this scheduled reporting.

When you claim Special Benefit, we’ll ask you for some documents to support your claim.
