Meeting the work test

To get Parental Leave Pay you need to meet a work test.

Work needs to meet certain criteria to count in the work test.

You may still meet the work test if you’re self employed.

Some activities won’t count as part of the work test.

If certain circumstances affected your ability to work during your work test period, you may still meet the work test. We call these exceptions to the work test.
