Upload your Centrelink documents online
You can securely upload an image of your Centrelink form or other documents online.
You can upload your documents using either:
- your Centrelink online account through myGov
- the Express Plus Centrelink mobile app.
How to upload documents using your Centrelink online account

To upload a document:
- save the document you want to upload on your mobile device or computer
- sign in to myGov and select Centrelink
- select Upload documents from the home page
- select either Centrelink form and enter the form title or code or Other documents, then the category that best fits your document.
You can drag and drop your files into the Drop files here box or choose Select your file.
To see the documents you’ve uploaded, select MENU on your homepage. Then select Documents and Appointments, followed by Documents and View upload history.

How to upload documents using the Express Plus Centrelink mobile app

To upload a document:
- select Upload documents from the home screen, then Upload document
- select either Centrelink form followed by Scan barcode or Other document followed by Take a photo, Upload document or Add a photo from library
- when your document or photo is uploaded, select Submit.
To see the documents you’ve uploaded, select Upload documents from the home screen.

What documents you can upload
The total size of all files for a document upload must be under 5MB. Each file must also be in 1 of the following formats:
- png
- jpeg
- tiff.
You can include up to 10 files for each upload.
Before you upload a document, remove the password protection on the document. Here are examples of the types of documents you can upload from your mobile device or computer.

Rent certificates. Proof of asset ownership documents. Rates notices. Rental contracts. |
Child related documents |
Newborn child claim proof of birth forms. Birth certificates. Adoption or surrogacy agreements. Child care receipts. Change of care documents. |
Income Stream Review | Any documentation used to support an Income Stream Review. |
Immunisation evidence |
Immunisation History form. Medical Exemption form. A Child Health record book or overseas documents are not acceptable proof of immunisation. |
Foreign country documents |
Certificate of income from overseas. Certificate of residence status. Letters from foreign governments. |
Enquiry letter |
Letter or fax. Letter or fax to Centrelink from a third party. |
Legal |
Family Court documents. Letters to confirm care of children. |
Payslip | Payslips. |
Proof of identity | Documents to confirm you are who you say you are. |
