Call the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS National) to speak with us in your language about your Medicare payments and services.
To get this you must meet 1 of the following:
- live in Australia or an Australian dependency island
- visit from certain countries.

You can update your card when your circumstances change.
You can have your own Medicare card if you’re aged 15 or older and enrolled in Medicare.
You can get a new Medicare card if it’s lost, stolen, damaged or expires. You can also get an extra card as a family.
