New Zealand Disaster Recovery Allowance (NZ DRA) is financial support if you’ve lost income as a direct result of this disaster.
To get NZ DRA you must meet all eligibility rules, including working or living in one of the following declared areas. You can find all eligibility rules by checking who can get it.
You have until 21 July 2026 to make a claim for the following areas:

- Campaspe LGA
- Colac Otway LGA

- Greater Bendigo LGA
- Horsham LGA
- Lake Mountain Alpine Resort (Unincorporated Area)
- Macedon Ranges LGA
- Mansfield LGA
- Mildura LGA
- Mitchell LGA
- Moira LGA
- Mount Alexander LGA
- Murrindindi LGA
- Pyrenees LGA
- Strathbogie LGA
- Towong LGA
- Wellington LGA
- Wodonga LGA
- Yarra Ranges LGA.

You may also be eligible for New Zealand Disaster Recovery Payment. If you’re eligible, you can get both New Zealand Disaster Recovery Payment and NZ DRA.
