Getting payments
You’ll get Practice Incentives Program (PIP) payments automatically.
Once you’re in PIP, you’ll get payments automatically into your bank account. You need to meet the eligibility requirements for each entire quarter to be eligible for payments.
The exception is if you’re claiming Teaching Payments. Use the Practice Incentives Program Teaching Payment claim form (IP006) to tell us the number of teaching sessions hosted by a PIP practice.
We make the payments in February, May, August and November each year.
You’ll get payment statements mailed to your practice quarterly or online in HPOS.
Review of a decision
You can ask us to review our decision for changes in practice payments, changes of practice status - closed or withdrawn, or other reviews for the PIP or Workforce Incentive Program – Practice Stream. Use the Practice Incentives review of decision form (IP027).
