If you work and get Youth Allowance, Austudy or ABSTUDY payments, Income Bank can help you keep more of your payment.
Income Bank helps people whose income varies throughout the year.
You build Income Bank credits when you earn less than $539 a fortnight.
If you earn more than $539 in a fortnight, we’ll use your Income Bank credits before we start reducing your payment.
You don’t need to do anything to use Income Bank. You can view your Income Bank balance in your Centrelink online account and it will change as you report your income.
