Centrelink payment summaries show:

• payments you got from us that are reportable to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO)
• any tax you asked us to deduct from your payment in the tax year.

By mid-July, your Centrelink payment details should pre-fill in the ATO’s myTax lodgement service. This means it’s likely you won’t need your payment summary to complete your tax return.
