Not everyone’s payment is income managed in Western Australia.
Who it affects
If you live in Metropolitan Perth, the Peel or Kimberley regions, your payment may be income managed if either:
If you get a payment from us and you live in Ngaanyatjarra (NG) Lands your payment may be income managed if either:
- a child protection authority refers you
- you volunteer for Income Management
- a social worker refers you
- you’re younger than 25 and a Vulnerable Welfare Payment Recipient.
How you know
We’ll contact you if we get a referral for you to be under Income Management.
What you need to do
If your payment is income managed you need to tell us if you move. This is so we can help you update any payments from your income managed money.
