The message says you need to click a link to complete a review. The link takes you to a fake Services Australia or myGov website that collects personal information, including your myGov username and password.
These fake websites may also ask you to:
- upload a photo of yourself
- upload a photo of yourself holding your identity documents
- allow access to the camera on your device
- take a live video that records you making different facial expressions.
This is a scam. Scammers want you to feel worried so you act quickly and click a dodgy link.
Never click on a link to sign in to myGov or your Centrelink online account.
