Carer Payment is available to those who are caring for someone who:
- has a disability or medical condition likely to last at least 6 months
- is elderly and frail.
To be eligible for Carer Payment, you must be either providing:
- constant care for someone for at least 6 months
- care for someone at the end of their life.
