Registered claimants
If you are a registered TFES claimant, you can authorise a claims agent by completing a TFES - Claims agent authorisation form.
Once the form is completed you can provide them to the approved TFES claims agent or send them directly to us.
We’ll process the authorisation and let both the claims agent and you know when they can start acting on your behalf.
You can nominate more than one claims agent to act on your behalf by completing a separate TFES - Claims agent authorisation form for each claims agent.
Businesses who are not registered
If you are not a registered TFES claimant, you will need to provide:
- a TFES Registration and change of details form completed with your own business details, business contact, business activities, and the details of employees you wish to nominate as signatories
- a TFES Claims agent authorisation form.
Once the forms are completed you can provide them to the approved TFES claims agent or send them directly to us.
Once we have received the authorisation form and we have a copy of your business details the claims agent can make enquiries on your behalf.
We’ll assess your eligibility for TFES and process the authorisation request at the same time.
Contacting Services Australia
You can still submit your own claims or contact us directly, even when you have an authorised claims agent.
You can also withdraw your authorisation of a claims agent at any time by sending an email to tfes.support@servicesaustralia.gov.au.
