This National Carers Week, we recognise and celebrate the 3 million Australians who care for a family member or friend.
National Carers Week is from 11 to 17 October and this year’s theme is ‘Care for a carer: Making carers visible’.
The week is about shining a light on the invaluable contribution of all carers. It encourages everyone to recognise, support and care for the carers in their families, workplaces and communities.
We have a range of payments and support to help carers. You can find out more about getting a payment if you’re a carer.
