About General Practice Training Payments

We make payments to eligible participants in the Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) Program on behalf of the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing.

There are payments available for eligible participants in the Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) Program. We make support and incentive payments when advised to by the training provider. We call these General Practice Training Payments (GPTP). We don’t determine eligibility, manage applications, or set payment amounts.
