If your child is over 16 and finishing year 12, or not going back to school, you may need to update their study details online. Do this as soon as their study details change to help us pay you the right amount of FTB.
Your child may also be able to get their own payment. They should check what they’re eligible for early.
You can continue to get FTB until the end of the year. This depends on when your child finishes school and if they claim a student payment.
