For Centrelink payments and services, you can call our multilingual phone service.
You can get Carer Supplement if you’re getting any of these payments for a period that includes 1 July that year:
- Carer Allowance
- Carer Payment
- Carer Allowance and Department of Veterans’ Affairs Service Pension Partner
- Department of Veterans’ Affairs Carer Service Pension.
You can’t get the supplement if you only have a Carer Allowance Health Care Card.
This payment doesn’t add to your taxable income.
