If your child finishes school in November or December, your FTB for that child will stop on 31 December 2025. Make sure we know their study end date.
If your child completes year 12 school before November, your FTB will stop 28 days later.
You’ll need to update their study end date. We need the actual date they completed their studies. This is so you don’t end up with a debt.
If your FTB has stopped, your child may be eligible to get their own payment from us. They don’t need to move out of home to get payments.
