If you’ve been directly affected by this disaster, we have Australian Government Disaster Recovery Payment (AGDRP) and Disaster Recovery Allowance (DRA) to help you.

Australian Government Disaster Recovery Payment (AGDRP) is a lump sum payment to help if you’ve been directly affected by this disaster. You may be eligible for this payment if any of the following apply:

  • your home or major assets that you own at your home have been severely damaged or destroyed
  • you’ve been seriously injured
  • your immediate family member has died or is missing.

Disaster Recovery Allowance (DRA) is a short term payment to help you if you’ve lost income as a direct result of the disaster.

You can get this payment for up to 13 weeks.

If you’re eligible, you can get both AGDRP and DRA.
