Published: 7 July 2025

If you’re on a regular Centrelink payment and travelling, you must tell us about your new accommodation details.

If you travel, you must advise us of your new accommodation details:

  • each time you change address
  • when you pay a different amount for your accommodation.

We consider you to be a traveller if you are paying for accommodation in any of the following:

  • caravan parks
  • marinas
  • motels
  • camping grounds or similar.
