If you know someone who is 67 or older they could be eligible for a part or full Age Pension.

Age Pension is the main income support payment for people who are Age Pension age, 67 years or older.

To be eligible for the payment, they must also meet:

  • residence rules
  • an income test
  • an assets test.

There are different rates of Age Pension payments depending on the value of their assets, if they get employment income, or whether they are single or partnered. These may reduce the rate of payment they can get.

You can encourage them to learn more about getting the Age Pension.
