Tax time is from July to October.
Wait until pre-fill is complete in late July to lodge your tax return. If you don’t, you may have to amend your tax return later and lodge it again.
You should also:
- check that all your pre-filled information is right
- check what payments don’t show on your Centrelink payment summary
- watch out for scams and protect yourself online.
