Support at Home late evidence requirements are changing

Published: 20 July 2026

After 26 June 2026, evidence requirements for late invoices claimed are changing. You no longer need to provide evidence.

When you submit a late invoice claim, you need to select a reason for the delay. If you use the Aged Care Provider Portal, you don’t need to provide supporting evidence and you won’t be able to attach it.

This change applies to late invoices only. All other invoices claimed must follow existing evidence requirements where required.

If your software is configured to attach supporting evidence for late invoice claims, you can still provide it through the Business to Government (B2G) channel. Providing evidence is optional and we’ll accept your claim either way.
