Links to other sites

Some site pages and interactive content contain links to third party sites not managed by us. Those sites are not within our control and do not follow the same privacy, security, or accessibility standards as ours. We are not responsible for the content or availability of those sites, their partners, or advertisers. Any link to an external site is provided for your information and convenience only.

Third party linking

The aim of servicesaustralia.gov.au is to communicate our services by supporting an informed and engaged citizenry. Links to external websites are established and retained at our discretion. • complements existing information, products and services on servicesaustralia.gov.au
  • is accessible and applicable to a wide, national audience
  • has content that is relevant, useful and authoritative for citizens, businesses or other key stakeholders

Dark mode

Following extensive research and testing, we’ve launched dark mode for our website.

Dark mode changes the colour theme of this website from light to dark. Dark mode is often easier to read in low light conditions and can reduce eye strain and battery usage. Dark mode is becoming increasingly popular.

Dark mode is an ‘opt-in’ feature. Turn it on by using the toggle in the top right-hand corner of our website. Your computer will remember the dark mode setting when you return. You can turn off dark mode settings at any time, using the same method.

Quick codes

Quick codes are short numbers that identify a specific page on our website. For example, ‘QC 60042’ identifies our ‘Natural disaster’ page. Quick codes simplify the process of sharing web pages and help people find the information they need more easily.
