Pause for CDP participants
Mutual obligation requirements pause for parts of Northern Territory
Mutual obligation and participation requirements have been paused for one CDP community in the Northern Territory.
If you’re in this community, no payment suspensions or financial penalties will apply if you don’t meet your mutual obligation or participation requirements. You still need to report any income you and your partner get every 2 weeks, even if it’s $0. This is so we can pay you the right amount.
Due to a local matter, there is a temporary pause of obligations for the community of Peppimenarti.
This community is in the CDP Wadeye Region, where the CDP provider is the Thamarurr Development Corporation Ltd.
The pause period is from 28 April 2023 to 22 September 2023 inclusive.

Exemptions
If you’re unable to meet your mutual obligation requirements for any reason after the temporary pause ends, you should speak to your provider about a temporary exemption.
