If your child is born or adopted from 1 July you’ll get 120 Parental Leave Pay days, increasing from 110 days.

You can claim up to 3 months before the date you expect your child to enter your care.

If you claim before July, your Parental Leave Pay balance will be 110 days. If you give us proof to show your child was born or adopted from 1 July 2025 we’ll add an extra 10 days to your balance.
