The check helps identify if your child needs extra support with their health or development before starting school. Your child can have the check any time after they turn 3, until their 4th birthday.
This check also meets Healthy Start for School requirements for FTB Part A.
Healthy Start for School isn’t changing. You can still use another approved health check to meet the requirements. You must also tell us your child had a health check before they turn 5.
