The new Support at Home program now replaces the Home Care Package and Short-Term Restorative Care programs.
If you get a Home Care Package, you don’t need to do anything, you’ll be moved to Support at Home from 1 November 2025. Under Support at Home, you’ll only contribute towards the services you receive. We’ll write to you to in November to check your information and that you’re making the right contributions.
If you’re already in residential aged care the types of fees you pay won’t change unless you ask to move to the new fee arrangements.
