Payments and services during coronavirus (COVID-19)

If you’re a new or current customer affected by COVID-19 we have payments that can help you. We also have support if you can’t come into a service centre.

If you need a payment and aren't already getting one from us, we may be able to help. Eligibility and waiting periods for some payments have been temporarily adjusted during COVID-19. Use our guide to check what you can get. You can also read more about changes to payment rules.

If you already get a payment from us, you may be able to get the Coronavirus Supplement. You’ll get it as long as you get $1 of an eligible income support payment. You don’t have to do anything. We’ll pay this as part of your normal payment. Read more about how the Coronavirus Supplement may be extending.

If you get JobKeeper payment and a payment from us, you’ll need to report your income. Read more about upcoming changes to JobKeeper Payment.

If you visit a service centre in Victoria or South Australia please wear a face mask.

You may be eligible for the Pandemic Leave Disaster Payment if you live in:

  • New South Wales
  • Queensland
  • South Australia
  • Tasmania
  • Victoria
  • Western Australia.
