High-Risk Settings Pandemic Payment ended on 31 March 2023.

It was a taxable lump sum payment to help you during the time you couldn’t work and earn an income, because you had tested positive for COVID-19. Find out about including High-Risk Settings Pandemic Payment in your tax return.

If you’re an aged care or disability worker, you may be able to get COVID-19 leave payment grants. It’s to help you during the time you can’t go to work because you test positive for COVID-19, and have no other access to leave payments.
